I’m Alyssa - wife, mama, sleep consultant and coffee lover. And, in case you didn’t already figure this out…

…I LOVE SLEEP

My passion for sleep stems from years spent training as an elite rowing athlete. Adequate sleep, fuel, and hydration were pivotal to my rowing training and success. 

Due to a back injury, my rowing days ended abruptly. However, my passion for human movement, health, and wellness carried forward into a University degree in Kinesiology (studying human movement) and a job at a local medical fitness facility in the gym and cardiac rehab program. 

During my maternity leave, I experienced severe sleep deprivation after the birth of my first child. Sleep deprivation was a total shock to my system, and after a particularly rough night, I found myself on the phone with a Pediatric Sleep Consultant. 

I’ll skip the details, but hiring a sleep consultant dramatically impacted my daughter’s sleep. After struggling with sleep deprivation and witnessing the positive changes thanks to a Pediatric Sleep Consultant, I developed a deeper passion for this field. I decided to pursue certification and have spent the past five years helping babies and children improve their sleep. 

After completing an adult sleep certification through The Murray Method for Adult Sleep Coaching, I decided to leave pediatrics and focus solely on educating and supporting adults. 

Throughout my eight-week program, I help adults solve their sleep struggles by taking a holistic view of their lifestyle. We dig into the sleep environment, sleep schedule, mindset about sleep, diet, activity levels, stress management, sunlight exposure, and more.

Additionally, clients will not only begin to sleep better but gain tools and knowledge that they can carry with them for the rest of their lives!
